Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Plain English
"Commit thy way unto the LORD" means hand your path over to Him, and unto means to. "Trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass" means trust belongs to that handing over, and He will carry it out in His time. This is not a feeling you add after you have already decided everything yourself.
Devotional
Handing someone the car keys is a small act of trust. You are saying, you take this from here. God asks for your way, not a speech that keeps your hands tight on the wheel. Commit the path to Him, and trust Him to bring it to pass.
