Plain English
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Thy means your, and unto means to. God's Word gives light for the next steps, the way a lamp lights the ground by your feet. It does not always show the whole road at once, but it keeps you from walking in the dark.
Devotional
A flashlight on a night walk shows one stretch of path, then another. You walk by that circle of light. The Bible works that way for God's people. It is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path, enough for the step you need now.
