The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Romans 12:10King James Version

Plain English

"Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love" means be warm-hearted toward each other, like family. "In honour preferring one another" means, in honor, put the other person ahead of yourself. This love is not stiff. It is fond, and it is willing to go second.

Devotional

At a church supper, letting someone else go first in line can cost you ten minutes and a little pride. Brotherly love thinks that trade can be right. Preferring one another in honor is not flattery. It is a warm choice to lift the other person.
