The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Matthew 22:39King James Version

Plain English

"The second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Unto means to, thy means your, and neighbour means neighbor. Jesus sets this command close to loving God. Love the person near you in the way you already look out for your own good.

Devotional

If ice covered your own steps, you would want them cleared. A neighbor's steps in the same weather are a simple test of this verse. Love your neighbor as yourself means their cold, their errand, and their dignity matter to you. The second commandment shows up on your street.
