The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:3King James Version

Plain English

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Thou and thee mean you, stayed means fixed and steady, and trusteth means trusts. God keeps in peace the person whose mind is set on Him, and the reason is trust. This peace is God's keeping, not a mood we have to manufacture.

Devotional

A wheel of thoughts can spin so fast you barely taste your food, and one worry replaces another. Isaiah points to a mind stayed on God, set there on purpose. God keeps that person in perfect peace because they trust Him. When the wheel starts again, you set your mind back, and He does the keeping.
