The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:26King James Version

Plain English

"The Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought." Helpeth means helps, and infirmities means weaknesses. We often do not know how to pray as we should, so the Spirit "maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered," with sighs too deep for words. A wordless prayer is not a failed prayer.

Devotional

Grief or pain can leave you with nothing but a sigh in the chair, and you may worry that God wanted a better speech. Romans says the Spirit helps that weakness and intercedes with groanings that cannot be uttered. Your unfinished prayer is carried by God Himself.
