The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Psalm 62:8King James Version

Plain English

"Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us." Ye people means you all, and all times includes the bad hour, not only the calm one. Pour out your heart means empty it before Him without polishing every line, and Selah is a pause to take this in. God is a refuge while you pour.

Devotional

A full pitcher does no good if you are afraid to tip it, and some of us pray in careful sips and never say the real thing. The psalm says pour out your heart before Him and trust Him at all times, because God is a refuge. The messy prayer lands in a safe place.
