The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Plain English
Paul says that if you "confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus" and "believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead," then "thou shalt be saved." Thou, thy, and thine mean you and your, and hath raised means has raised. Confess means say it openly, and believe in your heart means trust it, not only nod. Heart and mouth belong together, because God raised Jesus from the dead.
Devotional
A true thing can sit in your chest for years and never be said out loud. The morning is ordinary, the coffee is hot, and still the words matter. Salvation is not a secret nod you hide from your own voice. Saying that Jesus is Lord, and trusting that God raised Him, is how faith speaks.
