The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Plain English
Paul says God "hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." Jesus knew no sin, which means He never sinned. Hath made means God has placed our sin on Him. In Jesus we are given a right standing with God that we did not build.
Devotional
At the shop, a quiet friend steps forward and takes the blame for a mistake that was yours. The owner's look shifts, and you are no longer the one in trouble. Jesus, who never sinned, was made to bear our sin in a far greater way. God counts believers righteous in Him.
