The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Plain English
Paul says, "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ." Ye means you, and the old spelling means fulfill. A burden is a load too heavy for one person to carry well. Christ's law is His command of love, and carrying a real load with someone is one way that love takes shape.
Devotional
A friend spreads medical papers across the table and cannot make sense of the form. You do not have to fix the illness to help. You can sit beside them, read the hard lines slowly, and carry that confusing weight for an hour. Bearing a burden is often that concrete.
