The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

Ephesians 4:26King James Version

Plain English

Paul says, "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath." Anger is not always the sin. What you do with it can be. Do not let the sun set on your wrath, because anger left overnight has time to harden into something worse.

Devotional

The two of you are still sharp with each other as the porch light comes on. It would be easier to go to bed and call the silence a truce. The day is ending on a live anger. Speak a calmer word, ask forgiveness, or pray and lay the heat down before the night locks it in.
