The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Isaiah 41:13King James Version

Plain English

The Lord says, "I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand," and "Fear not; I will help thee." Thy and thee mean your and you. He does not shout advice from far away. He holds the hand of His people and promises help, which is why they do not have to live by fear.

Devotional

The step outside is slick after a cold night, and your balance is not what it was. A companion takes your right hand and does not let go until you are on level ground. That is the kind of help this promise describes. The Lord your God holds His people's hand and tells them not to be afraid.
