The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Plain English
Moses says, "The LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee." Thee means you, doth means does, and forsake means abandon. Dismayed, the fear he forbids next, means shaken and undone. God goes ahead of His people, stays with them, and does not drop them.
Devotional
You have a hard appointment, or a move, or a conversation you would rather cancel. The unknown sits in front of you like a door you have not opened. You do not walk into it with God trailing behind as an afterthought. He goes before you, and He will not fail you or forsake you.
