The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Plain English
The Lord told Paul, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." Sufficient means enough, thee means you, and made perfect means His strength is shown in full right where we are weak. Paul still had a painful struggle, and Christians do struggle. Christ's power rests on people who need Him, and that is no cause for shame.
Devotional
You wake up already tired, and the pain did not leave overnight. There are still people to love and ordinary duties that will not do themselves. The struggle is real, and hiding it does not make you strong. Ask Christ to rest His power on you, because His grace is enough for this actual day.
