The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Psalm 139:14King James Version

Plain English

The psalm says, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works." Fearfully does not mean God was frightened when He made you. It means He made you with awe, with deep care and wonder, and wonderfully means you are a marvelous work of His hands. Your soul can know that, and the knowing turns into praise.

Devotional

You look down at your hands and see veins, spots, or a pale scar from an old surgery. It is easy to notice only what time has worn. Those hands were made with care by God, and so was the breath you just drew. Praise fits even on a day when the mirror feels unkind.
