The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

Proverbs 11:2King James Version

Plain English

'When pride cometh, then cometh shame,' and cometh means comes. Pride walks in first, and embarrassment follows close behind. 'With the lowly is wisdom,' and lowly means humble, because a humble person still has room to learn.

Devotional

Someone at the diner tells a big story, then knocks the coffee over while still talking. The room gets quiet in a different way. A humble person can laugh, wipe the table, and learn something pride hates to hear.
