The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Psalm 19:1King James Version

Plain English

'The heavens declare the glory of God,' so the sky tells of His greatness without a speech you have to decode. The firmament shows His handywork, and firmament means the wide sky. Sheweth means shows, and handywork means handiwork, the work of His hands.

Devotional

Step out after dark and the field seems to have a roof of stars. Nobody hung them on a wire. Let the sky make you quiet and grateful, because the heavens are declaring God's glory while you stand there in ordinary shoes.
