The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
Plain English
'Lovingkindness in the morning' means God's steady, loyal love at the start of the day, and thy means your. The prayer trusts in Him and asks to know the way to walk. Lifting up the soul unto Him means turning your whole self toward Him, and unto means to.
Devotional
The first light hits the pillow before the day starts making demands. Coffee can wait one minute. Ask to hear the Lord's loyal love, and ask Him which way to walk.
