The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:18-19King James Version

Plain English

God hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath means has. Reconciled means He made peace and brought us back. Not imputing trespasses means He does not count their wrongs against them, and to wit means that is.

Devotional

Two people who have been at odds can still end up at the same table if someone makes peace. The soup tastes better when the fight is not sitting between them. God did that larger peacemaking in Christ, and He trusts His people with the message.
