The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

Isaiah 44:22King James Version

Plain English

God has blotted out transgressions as a thick cloud, and sins as a cloud, and thy means your. A thick cloud can cover everything, and then it is gone. He says return unto Me, for I have redeemed thee, which means come back, because I have bought you back.

Devotional

After a hard rain, the clouds break and the yard is visible again. God says He has blotted out transgressions like that, and then He says to return. Do not admire the cleared sky from a distance when He is calling you back.
