The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Romans 12:14-15King James Version

Plain English

'Bless them which persecute you' means ask God's good for people who press you, and curse not means do not call down harm. Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Blessing a person who hurts you is not the same as calling evil good.

Devotional

One afternoon you clap for a neighbor's good news. Another day you sit in a quiet room because someone is weeping and extra words would be too much. Bless instead of cursing, and let your heart travel into another person's joy or grief.
