The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Galatians 5:13King James Version

Plain English

'Called unto liberty' means called to freedom, and ye means you. Do not use that liberty for an occasion to the flesh, which means an excuse for selfish, harmful desires. By love serve one another, because freedom in Christ is for service, not for cruelty.

Devotional

A free afternoon can be spent only on your own comfort, and comfort has its place. It can also become an excuse to ignore the person who needs a hand. Use a piece of that freedom to serve someone in love.
