The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7King James Version

Plain English

These words shall be in your heart, and thine means your. Teach them diligently to your children, which means carefully and often, and thou shalt means you shall. Talk of them when you sit, walk, lie down, and rise up, and if children are not in the house, still keep God's words in the ordinary hours.

Devotional

God's words fit at the breakfast table, on a walk to the mailbox, and in the last quiet minute before sleep. Teach them diligently if children are with you. If you live alone, speak them with a friend, and keep them in your own heart.
