The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Plain English
"Though our outward man perish" means the body wears out, "yet the inward man is renewed day by day." Paul calls the trouble "our light affliction, which is but for a moment." He does not mean your pain feels small today. Next to "a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory," what is seen is "temporal," temporary, and what is unseen is eternal.
Devotional
A man looks at his hands and sees the spots and the tremor that were not there twenty years ago. The outer person is wearing down, and he does not have to deny it. Day by day God can renew the inner person. The glory ahead weighs more than the ache he can see in the mirror.
