The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Plain English
"In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." "All these things" means the hard things, not a life with no battles. "More than conquerors" means we come through as winners by a wide margin. The reason is "through him that loved us," through Jesus who loved us, and nothing here says that nothing bad will happen.
Devotional
A runner finishes a muddy race with wet shoes and a stitch in her side. She did not finish because the mud dried up. Someone who loved her waited at the end and would not let the race be the whole story. In all these hard things, we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
