The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Plain English
"Thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah" means Bethlehem was small among the clans. "Out of thee shall he come forth" as the ruler in Israel, and "whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting" means his origins are from eternity. God promised the coming of Jesus from that small place.
Devotional
The post office in a small town has one counter and a flag by the door. Nobody would pick it as the center of the world. Micah says Bethlehem was little among the thousands of Judah, yet the ruler would come from her, whose goings forth are from everlasting. God began the coming of Jesus in a small town.
