Plain English
"Of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace." Fulness means fullness, and out of all that Jesus is, we have received. "Grace for grace" means grace following grace, one kindness after another. It does not stop after a single helping, and people who belong to him live on a steady supply from his fullness.
Devotional
The coffee cup is empty, and someone fills it again, and later in the day, they fill it again. John says that from his fullness we have all received, grace for grace. One kindness follows another. You do not have to live on a single old memory of mercy, and his fullness keeps giving.
