The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Plain English
This blessing is a prayer you can say over a family. "The LORD bless thee, and keep thee" means may the Lord do good to you and guard you, and "make his face shine upon thee" means may he look on you with favor. "Lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace" means may he turn his face toward you and give you peace.
Devotional
A grandparent rests a hand on a child's head at the table and asks the Lord to bless them. Numbers 6 is that kind of prayer, ready to be spoken. Ask God to bless them and keep them, to make his face shine on them, to turn his face toward them, and to give them peace. You do not need fancier words than these.
