The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Plain English
"It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not." We are not wiped out, because His mercy and pity do not run out. "They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness" means His compassions start fresh each morning, and His faithfulness toward you is great.
Devotional
You may go to bed worn out by a mistake, a bill, or a pain that will not quit. Morning still comes to the window. God's mercies meet you there, new again, even if the problem did not vanish overnight.
