The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Plain English
This verse tells us about God's amazing love. God loves everyone in the world so much that He gave His Son Jesus to save us. If we believe in Jesus, we won't be separated from God but will live forever with Him.
Devotional
God's love is the greatest gift we could ever receive. It's not based on what we do or how good we are, but simply on His choice to love us. Think about how incredible it is that the Creator of the universe loves you personally!
