The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Psalm 23:3King James Version

Plain English

"He restoreth my soul" means He brings your inner life back when you are worn down or have wandered. "He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake" means He leads you on right paths because of who He is, not because you earned a guide.

Devotional

You can take a familiar road and still miss the turn. A kind driver slows down and leads you back to the right way. God restores the soul and leads His people on right paths for His name's sake. His own name is the reason He does not leave you lost.
