The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Plain English
"Be still, and know that I am God" means quiet your panic and recognize who He is. He says He will be "exalted among the heathen" and "exalted in the earth," and heathen means the nations. God will be honored among the nations and over the whole earth, so the news is not bigger than He is.
Devotional
A waiting room can be loud with a television and other people's worry. Your mind wants to solve every headline before your name is called. Be still for a moment and know that He is God. He will be exalted among the nations, even when the room feels restless.
