Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
Plain English
"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Thyself means yourself, thee means you, and thine means your. This is not a promise that every wish is granted. As you delight in the Lord, He shapes what your heart wants, and He gives desires that fit a heart set on Him.
Devotional
A garden, a song, or a hobby still sitting on a shelf can remind you what delight feels like. God invites a deeper delight than a pastime. When He is your joy, the wants of your heart are not left on their own. He gives what belongs to a heart that enjoys Him.
