The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

1 Corinthians 13:6-7King James Version

Plain English

The thought about love is still going, and charity still means love. Love "rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth," so it does not celebrate wrong, and it is glad about what is true. Then it "beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things," bearing with people, ready to trust rather than suspect the worst, keeping hope, and lasting.

Devotional

Talk at the mailbox can turn a neighbor's mistake into entertainment. Love does not enjoy that. It is glad when the truth comes out, and it stays when a person is hard to keep loving. Bearing, hoping, and enduring are love with a long back.
