The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
Plain English
"Comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do." Yourselves together means one another, ye means you all, and edify means build up. Paul tells believers to comfort each other and strengthen each other, and he notes that they are already doing it, so he wants them to keep on.
Devotional
A phone call after bad news can be short and still hold a person up. You do not need a speech. Comfort and a sentence that builds faith are enough. Paul says believers do this for one another, the way a neighbor helps brace a fence after a storm.
