The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
Plain English
"Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law." Worketh means does, ill means harm, and neighbour means neighbor. Love does not harm the person next to you, and that is why love fulfills the law. If an action hurts your neighbor, it is not the love this verse is talking about.
Devotional
A rumor can travel down a street faster than a person can walk it. Love refuses to pass on what would wound a neighbor's name. It works no ill. The law's aim shows up in that refusal, in talk as well as in deeds, because love is the fulfilling of the law.
