Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Plain English
"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee." Thy means your, thee means you, cast means throw the weight onto Him, and sustain means He will hold you up. "He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved" means He will not let His righteous ones be shaken loose for good. The promise is His support, not that the burden vanishes before you finish praying.
Devotional
A full bag of groceries bites into your fingers until you set it on the counter. The bag is still heavy, but you are no longer holding all of it in midair. Cast your burden on the Lord like that. He will sustain you, and He will not let you be moved out of His care.
