The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Plain English
"I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." This is David's report: he looked to the Lord, the Lord heard him, and the Lord delivered him from his fears. Sought means he turned to God for help. The fears were real, and so was the rescue.
Devotional
Fear can sit in your chest while you fold laundry, long after the scary moment has passed. David says he sought the Lord and was heard. Deliverance from fear is something God does, not a debate you have to win inside your own head. Call to Him the way David did.
