The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Proverbs 16:3King James Version

Plain English

"Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established." Thy means your, unto means to, and established means made steady. Hand your work over to the Lord, and your thoughts find a firmer place. This is a way of working with God, not a trick that guarantees easy success.

Devotional

A work list can rattle around in your head before your feet hit the floor. Committing those works to the Lord is like setting the list before Him and then beginning. He does not ask you to stop working. He steadies the thoughts of the person who hands the work to Him.
