The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Plain English
"Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." In the midst means right there among them. Jesus promises His presence when even a small group gathers in His name, so you do not need a crowd for Him to be with His people. His name is the reason they have come together.
Devotional
Two chairs pulled close in a living room can feel too small to count as a meeting. Jesus says where two or three gather in His name, He is in the midst of them. The room may be ordinary, but the promise is not, and He is there with them.
