The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Plain English
Jesus says, "I am the door," and "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." A door is the way in. Through Him a person is saved and finds pasture, a place of real care. The thief comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus comes to give a full life under His care, not a promise of easy riches.
Devotional
Rain blows across the porch, and the wrong doors are locked. One door opens onto a warm room and a safe place to stand. Jesus calls Himself that door. He came so you could be saved and live a full life in His care, rather than a life thinned down to fear.
