The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Plain English
Paul says, "Christ liveth in me," and that the life he now lives "in the flesh" he lives by faith in the Son of God, "who loved me, and gave himself for me." Liveth means lives, and in the flesh means in this earthly body, day by day. His old life was crucified with Christ, yet he truly lives. He lives by trusting the Son of God, who loved him and gave Himself.
Devotional
The afternoon is plain, full of mail to sort and a floor to sweep, and it would be easy to live it only by habit. Paul says Christ lives in him, and that changes whose love runs the day. You are not left to power your hours by grit alone. You live by faith in the Son of God, who loved you and gave Himself for you.
