The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
Plain English
The messengers asked why the women sought "the living among the dead," and said, "He is not here, but is risen." Seek ye means you are looking, and the living means Jesus, who is alive. They were afraid and searching a tomb. Jesus really rose, so the grave was the wrong place to look for Him.
Devotional
You step into the bedroom where someone was ill, and for a glad reason the bed is empty because they are up and well. The women looked for Jesus among the dead and had to be reminded what He had said. Fear still sends people searching in the wrong place. He is not a memory locked in a grave, because He is risen.
