The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Plain English
Paul says, "Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind," so you may know God's "good, and acceptable, and perfect" will. Conformed means squeezed into the world's mold. Perfect here means complete and whole, not a harsh demand that you never slip. A renewed mind learns to recognize what God wants and to live it out.
Devotional
A catalog on the counter shows what the neighbors just bought, and a quiet pressure says you should match it. Your mind can be poured into that mold without a fight, or it can be made new. God has a will that is good, pleasing, and complete. You find it as your thinking is renewed, not as you copy the street.
