Plain English
The psalm says, "He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." Charge means an assigned duty, keep means to guard, and thee and thy mean you and your. God gives His angels care over His people on the paths they walk. This is His keeping, not permission to take a reckless risk and call it faith.
Devotional
The walk to the mailbox is as ordinary as a day gets, past the same bush and the same crack in the walk. You do not see angels, and you do not need to invent a story about them. God assigns their care over your ways. You can thank Him and still watch your step, because trust is not carelessness.
