Plain English

'Hid in mine heart' means stored in my heart, like a treasure kept where you can reach it. Thy word means your word, and thee means you. God's word, kept inside, helps a person not sin against Him.

Devotional

A letter you mean to remember does little good if it stays on the counter and blows away. Tuck the truth where you will find it again. Scripture stored in the heart is there when a temptation shows up at the door.
