The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
Plain English
'The entrance of thy words giveth light' means the coming in of God's words gives light. Giveth means gives, and thy means your. That light gives understanding to the simple, and the simple are ordinary learners, not people God looks down on.
Devotional
A dim front room changes when someone pulls the curtains, and the furniture was there all along. You just could not see the corners. God's words light the mind and the conscience the same way, so let them in.
