The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

Isaiah 30:21King James Version

Plain English

Your ears will hear a word behind you saying, 'This is the way, walk ye in it,' and ye means you. Thine and thee mean your and you. The word comes when you turn to the right or to the left, so God corrects people who start to wander.

Devotional

On a wooded path, it is easy to drift toward a side trail that looks easier. A voice behind you says the true way is still ahead. That is mercy, and if you have stepped aside, listen for the Lord calling you back.
