The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Plain English
Blessed means truly happy under God's kindness. It describes the person whose transgression is forgiven and whose 'sin is covered,' so God no longer leaves it as a charge. Covered does not mean you lie about it.
Devotional
A blanket can cover a mended place so the room is no longer ruled by the tear. The tear was real, and someone dealt with it. If God has forgiven you, you do not have to introduce yourself only by the old wrong.
