The reading changes at midnight Central Time, and it stays the same all day.

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Romans 8:33-34King James Version

Plain English

'Who shall lay any thing to the charge' means who will accuse God's people. It is God who justifieth, and justifieth means He declares us right. Christ died, rose, and maketh intercession, which means He prays for us, so the one who could condemn is the one who speaks for us.

Devotional

A courtroom feels smaller when you think the charges will be read aloud. Then you hear that God justifies, and the risen Jesus prays for His people at God's right hand. You may still feel accused, and you are not abandoned to the accusation.
